Dave Stringham

Dave has played in various blues, rock, and jazz groups including Randy and the Rainbows, Stormin’ Norman and Suzie, Stringham and Sal, The Bobby Watson Band, Fatwall Jack, Ron Levy’s Bluesmen, and Power Supply.  He has backed up various artists, including Frankie Ford, Jimmy Clancy, and The Orlons.  His performances have included appearances at Carnegie Hall, Nassau Coliseum, The Meadowlands, and Eisenhower Park as well as appearances on both local and Network Television. Dave studied sax technique and improvisation with Joe Viola and Jerry Bergonzi and jazz arranging with Steve Brown.  He has performed and composed scores for dance companies, including Dance Collective, Beth Soll, and Ithaca Dancemakers.  His work has been performed in New York, Boston, and Europe. Dave has the rare talent of playing both with great beauty and also hurricane-strength force.
