Jim developed
a fondness for the blues listening to the hometown-based “Bobby Watson Band” as
a teenager, doing a weekly blues show on the college radio station, and
force-feeding the music to sometimes reluctant college band mates near Chicago.
He founded the original “West End Blues Band” in 1986, and as time permitted,
has also performed with close friend and local legend “Rockin”
