Jim Lavezzo

Jim was a member of the “Bobby Watson Band” back in the band’s formative years in the mid-1970’s. He anchored one of the area’s first blues jams at the legendary Pizza Pub in Framingham, and filled in with the Watson Band countless times prior to the group disbanding in the early 1990’s.

Lavezzo has remained a highly sought after drummer for local bands over the years, as bandleaders (including Jim Atkinson) always knew they could count on him to step into a situation, even at the last minute, and lay it down the way it’s supposed to be played
